Hi There,
Here is one super simple, inexpensive way to protect yourself from toxic chemicals and literally ‘green-ify’ your home.
Besides laundry detergent, cancer-causing chemicals surround us all day long, they are in our hair products, toothpastes, soaps, and even in the very water we drink and bathe in.
Formaldehyde, for example, is a classified carcinogen that is used in not only laundry detergent, but in many personal body care products like body wash and shampoo. So now, every time you shower, formaldehyde pollutes the air in your home.
NASA tested the theory that houseplants could be used to absorb air pollutants and they discovered approximately 50 houseplants were very successful at cleansing the air.
The Peace Lily in particular, topped their list. It is extremely effective at absorbing chemicals such as acetone, trichloroethylene, benzene, ammonia, formaldehyde, and even toxic mold spores.
Buy some indoor plants, even a small one for 3 dollars will do the trick.
Keep an eye out on your inbox, I’ll be sending you some more simple chemical free, ‘green-ifying” tips.
Till next time,
